Different name, same vision…
We may have a new look and a new name, but we still have the same passion to help support local families in Suffolk!
If you’ve not heard us of us before, we’re Families Together Suffolk (formerly known as Home-start Mid & West Suffolk).
We’re a local charity that is focused on ensuring families have access to the networks, knowledge and skills that provide a strong foundation for their childs future.
We do that through 1-1 Support, Home visiting, Group Work & Early Intervention, to name just a few!

Why Not Volunteer?
No special qualifications are necessary to become one of our volunteers. Peer Volunteers, those who are matched with and then support a family are usually parents or grandparents themselves with an interest in, and experience of, young children and family life so have valuable experience that they can pass on.
We welcome volunteers from all sections of the community
Volunteers are offered on-going training and support, including opportunities to take part in activities with specialist speakers and services, as well as informal social gatherings.

Our Shops Need You
Our charity shop in Eye and our Ebay Hub in Stowmarket both raise vital funds to support our work and we are looking for more volunteers to join our teams.
At the shop in Eye you could be assisting and serving customers, preparing stock ready to go out on sale. Rotating and replenishing stock and keeping displays and rails tidy and appealing.
There are also IT tasks relating to pricing and gift aid if this is something you would prefer to do.
At the Ebay hub in Stowmarket you could help sort donated items, prepare, display, photograph and list them for sale online. Also pack them ready for dispatch.
Training will be given for all the different aspects of the jobs above so why not come and join our great team of volunteers.
