Be A Volunteer For
Families Together Suffolk
No special qualifications are necessary to become a Families Together Suffolk volunteer, but Peer Volunteers (those who are matched with and then support a family in their home, community and/or remotely by phone and online) are usually parents or grandparents with an interest in, and experience of, young children and family life.
We welcome volunteers from all sections of the community
Talking and listening can be empowering for families, helping them to overcome their difficult situations by realising their potential, building their confidence and finding security in confiding with their Peer Volunteer.
Volunteers are offered on-going training and support, including opportunities to take part in activities with specialist speakers and services, as well as informal social gatherings.
